Formula 105 neutralizes wastewater odors in lift stations, sewage treatment plants, lagoons and digested sludge.

Its effectiveness, environmental safety, human safety and cost is superior to other products used in deodorizing, and it has been especially useful for wastewater facilities near residential areas where neutralizing odors (not odor masking) is a priority.

How Does It Work?

Formula 105 has an affinity for solids in wastewater and combines with them in such a manner so as to prevent them from creating odor. In wastewater with aerobic bacteria, this product acts to assist bacteria. When FORMULA 105 combines with suspended solids, it not only reduces their ability to create odor, it also appears to reduce their appetite for dissolved oxygen in water. This leaves more oxygen for bacteria in the water. The bacteria become more vigorous, and digest solids more efficiently.

Is It Cost Effective?

Yes. Formula 105 is effective in small quantities and requires no additional acids or other chemicals to alter pH or eliminate odors. Typically a usage of about one part Formula 105 per 100 parts of Total Suspended Solids in the wastewater, dispersed throughout the system to be deodorized, will contact all of the solids and eliminate odors. It is sold in 55 gallon drums, not tank loads. Since less is required, this results in a savings in storage space, time and manpower.

What Makes It Better Than Other Products?

FORMULA 105 is non-corrosive, non-volatile, non-toxic and biodegradable. It will not contribute to machinery wear or breakdown. It does not require expensive equipent for implementation. It neutralizes water based odors without the use of perfumes, masking agents, or oxidizers. It enhances aerobic bacteria in lagoons and promotes bacteria's ability to digest solids.
